Chocolate Crescents

Chocolate CrescentsWe followed this recipe almost exactly and it was chocolate overload. Even for James and that’s about the only sweet sugary thing he likes.



Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Separate the dough and space out

The recipe calls for 1 Tbsp of chocolate chips each (we suggest halving it so you can actually taste the roll)

DSC00304Roll up each piece from the largest end down to the smallest end and brush the tops with the egg to help the dough become gold

DSC00305I know they look awful but once they bake they get pretty (ok pretty-ish)

Bake these for a about 15 minutes

Meanwhile begin melting more chocolate chips for the drizzle

Add no more than one tsp of shortening as the chocolate melts

Once the crescents are done drizzle the chocolate over them (we found a small spoon works best)
