Biscuits with Sausage and Gravy



1 can of flaky biscuits

1/2 pound of ground breakfast sausage

3 Tbsp of flour

2 and 1/2 cups of milk

Salt and pepper to taste


Preheat the oven to 400 degrees

Grease a 9in round baking dish

Quarter the biscuits and layer the bottom of the dish with half

Bake for 10 minutes

Meanwhile in a skillet brown the sausage over medium high heat

Once cooked, lower the heat to medium and with a wooden spoon blend the flour into the sausage (about 3 minutes)

Add the milk and stir to combine

Salt and pepper according to your tastes

Layer the gravy over the biscuits (it will thicken more in the oven)

Add the other half of the quartered biscuits and bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes
